Year 3 at Hartford Manor

Welcome to the Summer Term

We are Kingfishers (3NH)

And Woodpeckers (3NB)

This term we are covering the topic - From the Stone Age to the Iron Age

We will be looking at Stone Age to Iron Age life in Britain. We will study settlements and homes, weapons and hunting, as well as cave art and clothing.

Our science is all about animals, including humans.

Throughout this term, in English, we will be using texts linked to the topic focusing on settings, plots and characterisation.

Healthy living is important at Hartford Manor and we will be using the Trim Trail as well as having our P.E. sessions outside on the field. Please come to school in your full P.E kit on your P.E. days. If you need suncream then please apply at home and bring in some to reapply if required, as well as a hat for those hotchilly days.

Our P.E days this term are Wednesday and Thursday. Please wear a suitable P.E. kit ( white polo or T -shirt, plain dark coloured shorts or joggers and a school jumper and trainers) on these days. Please also bring a filled water bottle for the classroom.
